Easy GIF Animator - Create and customize GIF animations
GIF animations can serve many purposes, from personal fun to professional designs. They are easy to create, but not as easy to customize. With Easy GIF Animator, it is sufficient to load a series of images and to export the animation, but the software places many more useful features at your disposal, which you should definitely look at, before you export anything. It allows you to set up transition effects, insert annotations, make various visual adjustments and more.
The software is free to try, with some minor limitations. It works on all modern Windows platforms and it can be installed in a matter of seconds. Easy GIF Animator's hardware requirements are not high, so you can run it on any mid-range computer.
The user interface resembles that of MS PowerPoint, but with a cleaner and more efficient design. Imported images are displayed as thumbnails, on the left side of the interface, and you can preview and edit them in the larger area on the right. You can overlay text and shapes over your images, add comments and other annotations.
Additional tools can be found on a series of ribbon menus. You can use them to crop your images, add transition effects, insert images from the web and more. They are well categorized in tools that can be used on individual frames, on selected items or on the entire animation. There are various changes that can be made to the selected items. For example, you can apply a drop shadow effect on individual elements, convert them to greyscale, invert their colors or adjust their hue and saturation levels.
The software allows you to edit each frame separately, but you can also perform certain actions, like changing the duration or setting a different transparency level to multiple frames or all of them. The animation can be previewed at any time in the editing area or on a web browser. Obviously, animations can be saved in GIF format, as the software's name points out, but you can also retrieve its HTML code, if you wish to post the animation on the Internet.
